We are passionate parents with the mission of providing comfort to children and families in need. We became parents in the fall of 2019, and there is nothing we love more than being the parents to our little girl. We equipped ourselves with ALL the training, classes, and of course gadgets to prepare our home and hearts for our first child. 

While learning how to balance our new life and all of its moving parts. We were in search of the perfect lovey to provide our baby girl comfort when we couldn’t be there during the first grocery run, coffee date, and days at daycare. Needless to say the search was unsuccessful. In true new mom fashion, I didn’t like leaving many problems unsolved, so I created my own. Caroline LOVED it and we were comforted knowing that everytime we couldn’t be next to her side, she had a little piece of us with her. 

While we were fortunate to comfort our girl during her first breath, daytime explorations, and slumbers we know for many families that is not the reality.

Approximately 7 out of 100 newborns are hospitalized in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). At Brownie Points, our goal is to bring comfort to families that are balancing a new life with big challenges ahead and often increased distance.
